Description:

Description for B&B:

The farmhouse is a cozy retreat with 2 generously sized bedrooms located on the ground floor. The first bedroom, adorned in blue and yellow, features a double bed (160 cm) and a single bed. The second bedroom, in a delightful shade of pink, offers a double bed (140 cm), a single bed, and even a hidden bed for an additional child. For occasional use, there is a third bedroom available on the first floor.

Each of the bedrooms is equipped with its own private facilities, including a shower, wash basin, and WC.

If you desire a delectable evening meal, simply make a request, preferably 24 hours in advance. Julie, the host, takes pride in utilizing home-grown ingredients whenever possible, such as chickens, ducks, rabbits, lambs, and vegetables. In the event that home-grown options are not available, she sources from neighboring farms or local producers. Every element of the meal is homemade, from the sheep yogurt, bread, and jam served for breakfast, to the aperitif and goat cheese included in the dinner. Join us for an evening of wonderful cuisine and warm camaraderie.

Lovely place with amazing hosts

I stayed here with a number of friends and we absolutely loved it. Its a picturesque place surrounded by beautiful scenery. Julie and Mark were great company and really kind and flexible hosts. Julies cooking is amazing and we are all inspired by her reciepes. She made a real effort to cook for vegans/vegetarians. We had lots of fun learning about the farm.
Lovely suite, wonderful breakfast!

My wife and I stayed at Tondes after a party with friends. We had a restful evening in our farm room, listening to the quiet! :-) Julie and Mark took time to have breakfast with us the next morning, despite the neverending demands of the farm. And the breakfast was sumptuous! Thanks so much, we highly recommend a stay at Tondes!
Accueil chaleureux

A special stay on a working farm with charming hosts
Review by: Kristina, Juin 29 2017 9:38PM
Tondes is a truly special place to stay an absolute gem of a place. Hosts, Julie and Mark were warmly welcoming and friendly. Julies cooking is superb and she uses as much fresh local produce as possible. Much comes directly from their farm, vegetable garden and woodland. The meals were delicious (including a wide vegetarian repertoire) and Julie and Mark were entertaining dinner conversationalists with a wide range of interests and local knowledge. Breakfasts were equally appetising, generous and full of home produce.
Both bedroom and bathroom were very clean, extremely comfortable, spacious and charmingly decorated.
There is a pretty enclosed garden to sit in amongst all the flowers and animal lovers can meet sheep, goats, cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens and ducks on the farm.
Tondes has everything needed for a lovely, relaxing holiday.

Directions

If you take the Valence d'Agen exit at junction 8 when leaving the autoroute, follow the signs for Golfech. Once you cross the canal by the power station, take a right at the roundabout. At the next roundabout, turn left and follow the signs for Cahors. Keep an eye out for a small road on the left after passing Lalande. This road is located opposite some rubbish bins and just after a large house called Lamothe, which has a tower. Look for the Chambres Dhotes sign at the corner of this road. We are located 2 kilometers up this road on the left. Tondes is the farm situated at the top of the hill.

Alternatively, if you leave the autoroute at Castelsarrasin, junction 9, turn left at the roundabout towards Moissac. Cross both the river Tarn and the canal. After 200 meters from the canal, take a right onto the D7 in the direction of Bourg de Visa. At the first roundabout at Fourquet, turn left towards Valence d'Agen. After 800 meters, turn right at the Chambres dhotes sign, which is located opposite the rubbish bins. Tondes is 2 kilometers away on the left, situated as the farm at the top of the hill.
