Gite Mont Joly is conveniently located just off the main road into Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, offering a sunny and picturesque setting. The village center is a mere 800m away, making our charming gite an ideal choice for short breaks or longer vacations. With beautiful woodland surroundings on one side and breathtaking mountain views on the other three, our accommodation can comfortably cater for up to 15 guests. We offer a variety of room options, accommodating 2, 4, or 6-7 guests.

For a small fee of 7€ per person (children under 5 are free), guests have the option to enjoy a delicious breakfast. Additionally, we offer a packed lunch service for 7€.

Our spacious dining room and cozy snug provide the perfect opportunity for guests to mingle and share stories with fellow holidaymakers. Alternatively, guests can relax and soak up the sun on our sunny patio. The communal kitchen is well-equipped, complete with essential kitchen items such as herbs, spices, oil, and cling film. Raclette equipment is also available, and guests can savor a barbecue experience on the patio.

Upon request, guests have access to laundry facilities, including a washing machine and dryer. We also provide a ski locker in the basement (bike locker in the summer) and ample private parking. Baby essentials, such as a cot, high chair, play mat, and musical chair, as well as children's toys, are available upon request.

Saint Gervais is a charming French town known for its authenticity and friendly atmosphere. There are numerous attractions nearby, including the famous Tramway du Mont Blanc, which departs from the village and takes you to an altitude of 2380m. The hot springs at Le Fayet, a short 15-minute walk through the woods from the gite, and the Evasion Mont Blanc ski area, the fourth largest in France, located just 1.5km away, are also popular attractions. The village also offers a newly built swimming pool, an ice rink during winter, and a variety of attractive walks, both starting from the village and in the nearby Les Contamines nature reserve.

Description for Gite

You have the opportunity to rent the entire gite all year round, accommodating 15 guests in the summer and 22 guests in the winter. Except for the busy winter holidays (Christmas, New Year, and February/March school holidays) when the changeover day is on Saturdays, you have the flexibility to rent our gite for less than 7 days. Similar to our Chambres d'hôtes, the price includes all bedding arrangements.

Directions

If you are traveling by car or motorbike from Geneva, you can reach us by taking the Autoroute Blanche until you reach Saint-Gervais-le Fayet. From there, follow the signs to Saint-Gervais-les-Bains. As you approach the village, you will pass the restaurant, Le Four, which is located on a hairpin bend. Our building is the next one after Le Four.

For those coming by car or motorbike from Megève, simply drive through Saint Gervais and go under the Tramway du Mont Blanc bridge. You will find us situated 200m further along on the right-hand side.

If you prefer to travel by train, the nearest station is Le Fayet. We offer the option to pick up small groups from the station upon request.

If you are arriving by air, the nearest airport is Geneva. We recommend renting a car for convenience. Alternatively, there are several companies in the region that provide transfer services, which can be arranged.
