The city of Jonzac Montendre is conveniently located near historical sites and sandy beaches. Both cities offer a variety of shops, bars, and restaurants. Additionally, the beaches of Royan, St George Didonne, Angouleme, Cognac, Saintes, Pons, Meschers, Talmont, Royan, and Bordeaux are all less than an hour away.

At Domaine, we welcome all occasions such as family reunions, stages, parties, birthdays, and weddings. Our village hall is available for your use, providing the perfect opportunity for gatherings.

Sunflowers Cottage can accommodate up to 12 people and offers a spacious living room with a TV, DVD player, and fireplace for cozy winter evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooktop, oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, and microwave. There are four bedrooms, one on the ground floor and three on the first floor. The cottage also features a large bathroom with a walk-in shower on the ground floor and a bathroom with a bath upstairs. Other amenities include two toilets, a washing machine, iron and board, and vacuum cleaner. Outside, there is a terrace with a barbecue and garden furniture. The weekly price varies depending on the season: low season (900), mid season (1300), and high season (1900).

Le Petit Chai Cottage can accommodate 5 to 6 people and was converted from an old wine store. The cottage offers a comfortable living room with a TV, DVD player, and fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, and microwave. There are two bedrooms, one with a bed of 140x200 cm and another with three beds of 90x200 cm. An extra bed (sofa bed) is also available in the living room. The cottage features a bathroom with a walk-in shower, one toilet, a washing machine, iron and ironing board, and vacuum cleaner. Outside, there is a terrace with a barbecue and garden furniture. The weekly price varies depending on the season: low season (600), mid season (750), and high season (1000).

We also offer two charming guest rooms, Clelia and Le Boudoir, both located on the first floor of the main house. Our host table is available upon reservation, where you can enjoy delicious meals made with fresh ingredients from our garden.

During your stay, you will have free access to our garden, the fenced-off pool measuring 12 meters by 6, the indoor games room with table tennis, darts, pinball, billiards, and fitness equipment. We also provide outdoor badminton and various games for children. Bikes for adults and children are available, as well as golf clubs if you wish to play golf at Montendre. The nearby tennis court and boules are also free to use. For outdoor enthusiasts, there are opportunities for fishing, hiking, kayaking, and visiting the nearby spa.

Pets are allowed in the cottages.

Location and access:

Chaunac is situated approximately 10 km from Jonzac Montendre, 60 km from Angoulême, and 50 km from Bordeaux (40 minutes).

By car:
If driving from Bordeaux to Angouleme, take the A10 towards Paris and exit at 39B (Angoulême). Then, follow the RN10 and take the exit towards Montlieu-La-Garde and Montendre. From Paris, take the A10 towards Poitiers South, then take the RN10 towards Angoulême. Exit at Montlieu-La-Garde and head towards Montendre. If coming from the west, take exit 37 (Mirambeau) on the A10 and follow the D730 towards Montendre and Chaunac.

By train:
The nearest train station is Montendre, which is 10 km away. Alternatively, you can take the Atlantic TGV to Bordeaux or Angouleme and rent a car. There is also the option of reaching Jonzac or Montendre by TER.

By plane:
Bordeaux-Merignac Airport is approximately 55 km away (45 minutes).
