Village House in Mediterranean Style

This charming village house has been beautifully renovated in a traditional Mediterranean style. Located in a peaceful area on the outskirts of Cuxac, it can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people.

The accommodation features two double bedrooms with 140cm beds, as well as a mezzanine with two single beds. The double bedrooms are conveniently located on the ground floor, along with a bathroom and separate toilet. On the first floor, you will find a spacious dining room and sitting room with a cozy fireplace (wood provided), as well as a fully equipped kitchen. Double doors open onto the terrace, where you can enjoy outdoor dining with the provided barbecue and terrace furniture.

For those looking to extend their stay, this gite is perfectly situated for exploring the surrounding area. The stunning beaches and coastline are just a short 20-30 minute drive away, and there are plenty of cycling and walking routes to discover. The famous Canal du Midi is also nearby, offering a unique way to explore the region. History and culture enthusiasts will be delighted with the abundance of cathar castles and the historic city of Carcassonne, all within an hour's drive. If you're looking for a winter getaway, the Pyrenees ski slopes are just over two hours away by car.

Directions

To reach our destination, start by exiting the autoroute du Sud A9 at junction 38. Then, proceed onto the ring road N9, heading towards Carcassonne and Beziers. Follow the signs towards Cuxac d Aude, and at the 4th roundabout, take the last exit onto D13, leading to Cuxac d Aude. Once in the village, you will notice a boulangerie on your right. Opposite this bakery, take the turn towards Salleles. After passing the Hotel de Ville, make a left turn. After approximately 200m, you will see our sign post indicating rue du Bac. Continue on this street until you come across another sign for Maison Pelissier. Parking is available in the cave located across from the house.
