Directions
To reach your destination from Lyon by car, take either Highway A7 or A46 towards Marseille. Just before reaching Givors, switch to Highway A47 in the direction of St Etienne/Clermont Ferrand. Continue on this highway until you reach St Etienne. From there, follow the National 88 towards Le Puy en Velay. This road is a 2x2 way road. After passing by Monistrol s/loire, take the St Maurice exit, which is approximately 6-7 kms ahead. Go under the N88 to enter the village of St Maurice de Lignons. Keep driving straight through the village until the end. Just before exiting the village, you will come across a parking lot on your right. At this intersection, turn left towards Maubourg-Les Yverras-Chateau de Maubourg (there is a steel cross indicating the intersection). Drive on this road for about 1 km, which will take you through a wooded area with a descent and ascent. After exiting the woods, continue driving downhill for another 200 meters. At the bottom of the descent, you will see a group of stone houses on your left. La Desirade home is a large stone farm building with a wooden gate. Have a safe journey!
