Description for Gite

Nestled in a picturesque valley along the banks of the river "La Rance", La Minotais offers a charming escape in the village of Plouër sur Rance. Our historic stone farm has been lovingly converted into three comfortable holiday homes, showcasing the original 18th-century style. With its prime location, it serves as an ideal base for exploring the enchanting region of the Côte d'Emeraude.

Discover the stunning countryside surrounding Plouër through cycling or indulge in horse riding nearby. Just a short walk away, the marina offers a variety of water activities including sailing, kayaking, and canoeing. Immerse yourself in the rich cultural traditions of Brittany with its museums, galleries, concerts, vibrant "Fest Noz" celebrations, and antique markets.

Embark on wonderful 20 km walks along the estuary of the Ranke or take a scenic 15-minute drive to reach beautiful sandy beaches. Explore intriguing historical landmarks such as the "cité des corsairs" in St.Malo, the medieval town of Dinan, and the renowned seaside resort of Dinard. Within 25 minutes, you can visit Cancale, known for its vast bay where oysters and mussels are cultivated, and savor a delightful "degustation" at one of its inviting restaurants. Finally, within 30 minutes, you can marvel at the majestic Mont St. Michel, often hailed as the "8th wonder of the world".
