Slatters Cottage is a charming and luxurious Grade II listed self catering holiday cottage, boasting a rich history dating back to the 17th century. Located in a peaceful country lane in Bourton-on-the-Hill, near Moreton-in-Marsh, this cottage exudes character and offers a delightful retreat for those seeking a cosy and romantic getaway or a convenient base for exploring the picturesque Cotswolds.

The stone walled lounge on the ground floor features a beamed ceiling, a large inglenook fireplace with a log burning stove, and a window seat. Recently redecorated and refurbished to the highest standards, the lounge is furnished beautifully. The ground floor also includes a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge/dining area with a dining table and chairs, a comfortable leather sofa and armchair, a color television, a Freeview box with digital radio, a DVD player, a CD/MP3 player with radio, and an adjoining toilet and utility room. A wide selection of books, DVDs, CDs, and games are provided for your entertainment.

The cottage is equipped with everything you need, including a gas cooker, a fridge with freezer section, a separate freezer, a microwave, a washing machine, a tumble dryer, and gas central heating.

Upstairs, you will find a double bedroom with a luxurious 5 pocket sprung mattress and a TV, as well as a single bedroom with lovely views of the village and surrounding landscapes. The toilet/bathroom includes a bath and a shower-over-bath.

Additional amenities include a payphone and mobile reception (dependent on your network). Off-road parking is available directly outside the cottage for one car, and there is always further parking available on the road opposite the cottage.

For families with young children, a travel cot and high chair can be provided at no extra cost. All bedding, linen (excluding travel cot), and towels are provided free of charge. One well-behaved dog is welcome on request, for a small additional charge, but must remain downstairs. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the cottage.

Please note that the stairs to the first floor are slightly steep, making the cottage unsuitable for the infirm or very young children.
