Description:

Description for B&B:

Our house is located in a peaceful countryside setting, offering tranquility and privacy with no direct neighbors. It overlooks a beautiful 5000 m2 park and provides a stunning 180° panoramic view of the surrounding hills.

We have two charming cottages available for rent - the Blue Suite on the ground floor and either the Ochre House or the White Room on the first floor. Additionally, we offer a unique "retro" style accommodation option in the form of a small 1980s Eriba caravan, situated in the garden next to the house.

As the owners, we reside on the first floor and have a separate entrance on the south side of the house. We also provide the option of table dhôte with inclusive menus priced at either 20 or 28 euros. Free WiFi is available throughout the property, and we are open for bookings all year round.

Alessandro and Camilla, two individuals with a deep appreciation for both Italian and French cultures, welcome you to experience a relaxing stay at Glade. Our stone house, dating back to 1781, is nestled in the hills of southwestern Cantal Auvergne Volcanoes and Lot Valley, less than 2 km away from the charming medieval town of Marcoles. If you are looking to explore the area, Marcoles serves as an ideal starting point, offering picturesque countryside walks and easy access to exceptional sites such as Conques (35 km) and Figeac (45 km). However, Glade is also the perfect retreat for those seeking to indulge in dolce far niente - whether it's losing yourself in a book, enjoying a peaceful sleep, or simply reveling in the silence while taking in the breathtaking panorama of the southwest Cantal, Lot, and Corrèze hills.

Our Bed and Breakfast accommodations, including the Blue Suite on the ground floor and either the Ochre House or the White Room on the first floor, open onto a serene landscaped terrace. These rooms offer privacy, as they do not face any other buildings, and provide a pleasant view of the 5000 square meter park. Additionally, the Eriba caravan is situated to the left of the house, nestled within our garden and surrounded by trees and flowers.

The Blue Suite on the ground floor can comfortably accommodate 2 to 5 people, as the living room can be transformed into a separate bedroom. The Ochre House on the first floor is ideal for two individuals, while the White Room can accommodate 3 to 4 people. If needed, the White Room can also be combined with one of the other rooms to accommodate 1 to 3 additional guests. We also have 2 cots available for use, free of charge (cot linen available for 10 euros per stay). During the low season, couples have the option to rent the Blue Suite without the salon for 58 euros. In the high season, certain conditions may apply, and the price for this option is 62 euros.

For those seeking a more unique experience, we offer the Eriba caravan, a charming retro-style accommodation option. This cozy caravan features a fixed double bed with slats (140x190) and a seating area with two benches and a table. It also has a small toilet area. Guests staying in the Eriba can access hot water and shower facilities in our house, through a direct and independent entrance from the outside. For more details and specific rates, please visit our website. Please note that we do not accept pets.
