Located 20km from Ajaccio in the picturesque Prunelli Valley, Casa Chiesa della Vigna is a tranquil guest house nestled in the heart of Cauro village. With the beach just 15 minutes away, the mountains a short 20-minute drive, and the river only 5 minutes away, our location offers the perfect balance between nature and convenience.

We offer two guest rooms on the left side of our house, both with air conditioning. The Asian-inspired room exudes a fresh and zen ambiance, decorated in beige, white, and gray, while the African-inspired room offers a warmer atmosphere with its orange tones, red accents, and wooden furnishings. Both rooms share a common bathroom and separate toilet.

For an authentic culinary experience, we invite you to try our regional cuisine at our breakfast table. We use high-quality products sourced from our garden and the local region. Additionally, our fully equipped kitchen is at your disposal if you prefer to prepare your own meals.

Outside, our garden and the surrounding area are perfect for relaxation or a leisurely stroll. Children can enjoy the outdoor games available.

The Asian room can accommodate up to 3 people, with the option of an extra bed for an additional charge of 20 euros. We also welcome small children (up to 3 years old) with a cot, making the room a family suite for up to 4 people (cot provided by us for an extra 5 euros). The African room is suitable for 2 people only.

Casa Chiesa della Vigna is ideally situated between the sea and the mountains, allowing you to explore the wonders of Corsica in a single day. Whether you prefer a simple walk, a hike, or a cultural discovery, our location offers it all.

From Casa Chiesa della Vigna, you can head towards Bastelica and Val d'Ese (D27) to immerse yourself in the beauty of the Pineta forest and admire the Genoese bridge in our valley with just a 15-minute stroll. Discover Bastelica, the hometown of the famous Sampiero Corso, a colonel in the French army during the reign of François 1st. A heritage trail will guide you through this charming mountain village. For the more adventurous, the Ese plateau offers several hiking trails and the opportunity to explore the "pozzi."

On your way back to Cauro, take a right turn towards Tolla and Ocana to witness the stunning gorges of Prunelli, our river valley.

Before concluding your tour, don't miss the breathtaking view of Tolla village and its lake. Take a leisurely walk down to the lake, where you can enjoy water sports, picnic areas, playgrounds, and swimming spots. For a final stop, head towards Bastelicaccia and Huerta to join the N 196, or continue to Ajaccio to witness the famous sunset over the Sanguinary islands. Alternatively, you can explore the beautiful beaches of GulfPorticcio for a night swim reminiscent of tropical paradises.

After experiencing all these wonders in a single day, you will understand why the Greeks named Corsica Kallisté, meaning "the most beautiful."

Our guest house offers a spacious and comfortable lower wing with air conditioning, perfect for accommodating four people. The 40 m2 house includes a main room with a modern kitchenette equipped with all necessary appliances (hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator, food processor). The living area also doubles as a sleeping area with a sofa bed for two. There is a separate bedroom with a comfortable double bed, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. Outside, you can enjoy a lovely terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue, perfect for enjoying meals in the summer and winter. Additionally, you have access to our dining table if you wish. The village nearby offers various shops, bars, restaurants, a pizzeria, grocery stores, a bakery, a doctor's office, and a post office. With our great location, you can easily explore the surrounding area, including being 20 km from Ajaccio, 15 minutes from the beaches, 20 minutes from the mountains, and 5 minutes from the river. Our new villa, "Babbu u," is currently undergoing renovations and will be available starting in May 2015. The two-bedroom villa will have a modern design with a mix of modern and antique elements. It will feature a dining room with a country chic atmosphere, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom. Outside, there will be an arbor attached to the house, a laundry room, and a spacious garden terrace with a barbecue. Guests will also have access to our above ground pool, as well as other outdoor activities such as a swing, table tennis, boules, and badminton. We provide linens and towels, as well as various amenities such as books, board games, and tourist guides. We also offer WiFi and breakfast options.
