Description for B&B:

Located just a short distance from the city centre, in the serene St Genès area, you will find the blue house. This charming accommodation option, with its hospitable hosts, offers a unique and family-oriented experience.

Unlike the standard hotels, this private residence is situated on the outskirts of Bordeaux city centre. However, with convenient access to regular bus and tram lines, you can easily explore the Bordeaux region and all its attractions. Once you arrive, you can simply unload your suitcases, park your car, and immerse yourself in the beauty of Bordeaux.

Constructed in the late 19th century, this elegant "vieille dame" maintains the classic style and architecture that is characteristic of Bordeaux. As you enter, you will pass through a small garden adorned with flowers and herbs, where smokers often find solace. Inside, you will find cool and comfortable rooms, providing a respite from the summer heat thanks to the shelter of the sturdy stone walls.

If you choose to stay, you can enjoy the bed and breakfast accommodations offered at the blue house. There are two independent rooms located near the entrance of the house, providing ample space for 2 to 4 individuals.

Valerie is the perfect hostess and her home is the place to stay in Bordeaux. The house is located inside the magnificent UNESCO area and is only a short walk plus tram ride away from the city center. After enjoying Valerie's magnificent breakfast the stroll to the tram is just what you need.
Valerie is a treasure Box of information, by listening to her tips we had amazing experiences of Bordeaux and the surroundings. Thank you Valerie - you made this holiday just perfect!
Overnight stay in Bordeaux

What an excellent place to stay when driving down through France. Couldn't fault the accommodation or the location - a short tram ride from the city centre. Patricia was very helpful in recommending places to eat and drink and we really appreciated the way that she allowed us to use our rather rusty French even though she does speak excellent English.

Maison calme et charmante
Review by: Isabelle, Avr 24 2014 2:37PM
