Description:

Description for B&B:

La Croix du Reh has a rich history that dates back to 1620 when an inn was constructed in the charming village of Chateauneuf - la Foret in Haute Vienne, Limousin, under the orders of French King Henry IV. Throughout the years, the building has served various purposes, but it has now returned to its original intent as a chambres d'hôtes or bed and breakfast, providing shelter to travelers.

During the summer, dining at our B&B often takes place in the garden, offering a delightful experience. Upon request, we also provide evening meals. Whether it's summer or winter, guests can expect a warm welcome in our Salon, adorned with original oak beams and featuring a large open log fireplace.

Our bed and breakfast in Limousin is an excellent alternative to self-catering gites and serves as a convenient stopover option compared to hotels. As our bed and breakfast is also our home, we aim to provide the warmth and hospitality characteristic of traditional French bed and breakfasts. In the midst of winter, particularly when snow blankets the ground, the crackling fire in the Salon offers a cozy retreat. If you're looking for a carefree Christmas or New Year break, we have special offers available on our website.

We offer five en-suite bedrooms with varying capacities: the Rose Room accommodates 2-3 people, the Blue Room accommodates 1-2 people, the Gold Room accommodates 2-3 people, the Yellow Family Suite accommodates 2-5 people, and the Lavender Family Room accommodates 2-5 people. Baby cots can be provided for each bedroom. All rooms are equipped with en-suite baths and/or showers, clock-radios, and coffee/tea-making facilities.

Our bed and breakfast operates throughout the year, ensuring that we meet and exceed all your expectations for a traditional holiday accommodation experience in France.
