Welcome to a preserved village nestled in the heart of the mountains! Enjoy a breathtaking view of the peaks of the High Giffre, adding to the charm of this ancient family farm. During the summer, Chantal and Alain offer two warmly decorated bedrooms for a family unit of 2 to 4 people, complete with private sanitary facilities. Start your day off right by indulging in a delicious breakfast on the panoramic balcony. This place is truly ideal for relaxation. For those interested, Chantal will be delighted to serve her regional specialties on select days such as Monday and Friday. In consideration of everyone's comfort, please note that the house is non-smoking. As an added bonus, the property also houses horses. The Gorges des Tines and Via Ferrata are conveniently located nearby, along with a Nature Reserve and a Grand Site just 10 kilometers away. Additionally, the Village of Art and History and the leisure & entertainment center in Samoens are only 5 kilometers away.

Sixt Fer à Cheval, a village in the Valley High Giffre, is located in the Alps near the villages of Samoens, Morillon, and Verchaix. This scenic valley, situated halfway between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, offers a plethora of attractions.

To reach Sixt Fer à Cheval, there are several options:

1. From Geneva Cointrin Airport or the train station.
2. From Lyon Saint Exupéry Airport or the train station.
3. From Annecy train station.

By road, you can take the A40 motorway towards Chamonix and exit at Cluses towards Morillon and Samoens. Then, follow the main road D4 and continue on the main road D907 towards Sixt Fer à Cheval after reaching Samoens. After passing through the plain of Vallon and a small hamlet called Perret (consisting of three or four houses), you will encounter a few turns. Look for a small road on the left, in front of a chapel, and take that road towards Mount. At the end of this road, turn right to arrive at Sixt Fer à Cheval.

During your journey, you will pass through the charming village of Balme and a beautiful forest before reaching Mount and eventually Sixt Fer à Cheval.
