Located between Provence and Cévennes, just a stone's throw away from the Ardeche Gorges, our charming establishment offers an ideal climate for your holiday. Situated in the heart of the village of BARJAC, a designated "Character Village" that exudes the timeless charm of old Provencal villages, OUSTAU The MULBERRY welcomes solo travelers, couples, and friends for a delightful stay of two, three, or more nights.

Housed in an authentic 18th-century farmhouse, our bed and breakfast features a beautiful garden with outdoor furniture, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere. As our guests, you will be treated like friends, receiving a simple and friendly welcome. Our three comfortable and tastefully decorated non-smoking bedrooms are located on the upper floor. Each room is named after a tree from the Moraceae family.

Choose from the following rooms:
- White Mulberry: with three beds measuring 90 x 200
- Breadfruit: with one bed measuring 160 x 200
- Fig tree banyan: with two beds measuring 90 x 200

Shared facilities include two bathrooms, one with a bath, basin, and toilet, and the other with a shower, sink, and toilet.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast, which is included in the price, either on our terrace or in the dining room. We are happy to accommodate any dietary requirements upon request.

On select evenings, we offer a host table service, where you can indulge in Southern cuisine made with fresh seasonal ingredients. Please make a reservation in advance. For other nights, Barjac and its surrounding area boast numerous excellent restaurants, and we would be delighted to provide recommendations based on your preferences and budget.

We also offer the option of meal trays, available upon reservation.

Stay connected with our complimentary WiFi, and unwind in our library, complete with a fireplace and period stone features. Here, you can relax by the fire, read a book, or enjoy one of the board games at your disposal.

We provide linen free of charge, and parking is available nearby. Please note that we are unable to accommodate pets, as we already have a small dog sharing our daily life.

From our farmhouse, you can easily reach the local market, supermarket, bakery, butcher, pharmacy, and bike rental shop within a few minutes on foot. Additionally, Barjac offers various attractions such as restaurants, fairs, flea markets, attics, a library, and a castle festival, allowing you to immerse yourself in the charm of this picturesque town.

Directions

To reach Barjac from the North, take exit (19) Bollene on the A7 motorway. Then follow the signs for Pont-Saint-Esprit and Barjac.
If you are coming from the South on the A9 motorway, take the Remoulins exit and head towards Uzès. From there, follow the directions to Allegre les Fumades and finally Barjac.
If you are traveling on the A7 motorway, exit at Avignon or Orange and continue towards Bagnols-sur-Cèze and Barjac.
Upon reaching Barjac, at the roundabout of "Cicada," take the road towards the city center (D901).
You will find the pottery and the pharmacy on your left before reaching your destination.
If you prefer to travel by train, the main stations to consider are Avignon, Nimes, and Ales.
For those arriving by plane, the airports in Avignon, Lyon, Marseille, Montpellier, and Ales are all convenient options.
