Description:

Description for Gite

Welcome to our charming cottage, situated on a 3,500m² plot alongside our main house and an independent guest room. This former barn offers a cozy living space, with a combined living room and kitchen on the ground floor, as well as a bathroom and separate toilet. Upstairs, you will find two interconnected rooms, one with a double bed and the other with bunk beds for children.

A lovely garden area provides the perfect setting for outdoor meals, allowing you to soak in the breathtaking mountain landscape. We also offer the option of enjoying breakfast at our on-site "Chickadees" guest room, suitable for 2 or 3 people.

Please note that we do not allow pets, and payment can be made by check. Additionally, at the end of your stay, there will be additional charges for city tax (€0.34 per person per day, excluding children under 5) and any excess power consumption.

To ensure your comfort, we provide a sufficient supply of wood for the stove, free of charge. However, please be aware that the main heating is electric. Linen rental is also available upon request (€10 for single bed sheets, €15 for double bed sheets, and €5 for towels per person), with payment made upon arrival.

For your convenience, we offer two options for the end-of-stay cleaning. You can either choose to handle the spring cleaning yourself or opt for a fee of €50, and we will take care of it.

The Baronnies region has been classified as a remarkable landscape by Natura 2000. It is home to a Cistercian abbey, a beautiful gulf, excellent cheese producers, and numerous quaint villages that seem frozen in time. For us, it is a truly magical and rejuvenating place.

In the surrounding area, Lies is located 8 km from Bagnère-de-Bigorre, a charming spa town with a delightful farmers market on Saturdays, a spa center (Aquensis), a cinema, a theater, and a swimming pool. Within a short distance, you can also explore the renowned ski resort "TOURMALET - LA MONGIE BAREGES" (20 kilometers away), the Pic du Midi de Bigorre (known as the ship of the stars), and the city of Lourdes. Our valleys offer numerous opportunities for both moderate and challenging mountain hikes.

We, Sandra and Eric, invite you to experience the beauty and tranquility of our cottage in this extraordinary region.
