Description for B&B:

Capacity: The eco-lodges at Gîtes de Lecole Buissonniere can accommodate a total of 12 people. There are three furnished lodges available, with options for 2, 4, and 6 people.

Located in the heart of Lens, a mining town, these atypical flats are just a short distance away from the Louvre-Lens Museum, 11/19 Base, and Stade Bollaert-Delelis. They are easily accessible via major highways such as A21, A1, and A26.

These eco-houses were created with a strong focus on sustainable development, the mining heritage, and the regional identity. The concept for these lodges originated from a family discussion several years ago, with the aim of showcasing the richness of the region, particularly the mining area and its historical significance to the local community.

Exclusively designed and manufactured by local artisans, these eco-lodges provide all the modern comforts one would need, including toilets powered by rainwater recovery tanks, showers, kitchenettes, TVs, and free WiFi. They are suitable for various types of guests, including families, couples, and business travelers.

One of the eco-lodges even features a roof terrace, offering breathtaking views of the twin heaps of 11/19 and the lantern tower of Notre-Dame-de-Lorette.

To enhance the guests' experience, a local home is also available on-site. It offers breakfast, snacks, and meals in the form of baskets, as well as regional products for sale. Additionally, it provides all the necessary tourist information to help guests explore the area.

Occasionally, guided tours of the mining town and the nearby 11/19 site are organized for guests' enjoyment.

LEcole Buissonnière is a remarkable and tranquil haven that feels like a preserved slice of history, where time seems to stand still. It pays homage to the past while also embracing the future through its unique design and amenities.

The accommodation options at Gîtes de Lecole Buissonniere include:
- 1 lodge for 1 to 2 people
- 1 lodge for 1 to 4 people
