Description:

Description for B&B:

Originally built in the nineteenth century, this farm has a rich history of hosting highly successful horses and nurturing the growth of foals. It served as a major hub for the equine industry and provided housing for the workers involved. Today, three of these houses have been transformed into breeding spaces, affectionately named "Estuary", "Médoquine", and "Gironde".

To preserve its rural charm, this large and ancient building has undergone renovations. Situated on 13 acres of lush meadowland on the outskirts of town, it offers a serene and natural retreat. Many have been drawn to our unique lifestyle and land, and now it's your turn to experience it.

We offer three guest houses and two beautiful rooms, accommodating up to 25 people. Whether you're traveling with family or friends, you'll find a comfortable stay with us. Our location is prime, just 8 km away from stunning beaches and 3 km from the estuary, earning us the well-deserved nickname of "Petite Camargue" in the northern Médoc region.

As you explore our meadow, you'll encounter our playful donkeys and their young, our adorable pygmy goats, gentle ponies, and other delightful farm animals. The happiness and joy of nature are right at your doorstep.

Description for Gite

Our collection of four cottages is known for its exceptional quality, providing varying capacities to accommodate both small and large families. Each cottage is equipped with a cozy living room, a well-equipped kitchen, and three bedrooms featuring comfortable "Gironde" and "Médoquine" beds. Each cottage is uniquely designed with its own interiors and comes with private outdoor amenities. Additionally, our reception room, complete with a charming "Fireplace Grill," is capable of hosting up to 40 guests. Furthermore, all cottages are equipped with fully-functional kitchens and sanitary facilities for your convenience.

Appréciations pour Ferme du Marais, Saint Vivien de Médoc:

Ferme du Marais - gite Margaux
Review by: Georges B., Mai 11 2016 4:22PM
Super gîte: propreté, déco, tout équipé même les allumettes pour le barbecue; très spacieux même à 10 personnes; les enfants ont appréciés les animaux. Sans oublier la gentillesse des propriétaires. Bravo
