This stunning Maison de Maitre, built in 1890, is located on the peaceful and picturesque Charente/Dordogne Border near Angouleme. This charming abode serves as the perfect base for exploring the nearby wine regions of Cognac and Bordeaux, as well as the captivating Charente and Dordogne Brocante markets and countryside, which boast breathtaking villages. Additionally, it offers a comfortable overnight stay for those embarking on longer journeys through France. Conveniently located near the main north-south autoroute N10, we can provide excellent recommendations for memorable day trips. As an added bonus, a continental breakfast is included, and with a mere 2.5-hour journey from Paris via TGV, guests can easily indulge in a taste of the capital's cultural offerings.

Our private suite offers splendid views of the meticulously landscaped grounds and gardens, where guests can unwind in the utmost comfort of a king-size double bed. The suite also boasts a private bathroom equipped with both a bath and shower, as well as a separate dressing room/sitting room. The nearest airports, Bordeaux and Limoges, provide convenient access, and Eurostar from London via Paris or Lilles is easily accessible. Please note that a minimum stay of two nights is required, and for an additional charge, we can accommodate three guests by arrangement.
