Description:

Description for B&B:

Experience the enchanting allure of our family-owned establishment, where you will be captivated by our distinctive character. Allow us to guide you through our expansive premises, showcasing its remarkable architecture, including the remarkable horseshoe design and the adjoining property featuring a model farm from the late 19th century.

Our patio holds a significant historical significance, having witnessed the passage of King George V, President Poincaré, Joffre, and Foch General during their conference in preparation for the decisive counter-offensive of the Battle of the Somme. It was during this conference in August 1916 that Sir Douglas Haig selected Valvion as his headquarters, ultimately leading to the signing of the sole command of Doullens.

We offer a spacious and completely renovated 28m² room on the first floor of our house, perfect for accommodating 2 or 3 individuals. The room boasts an ensuite bathroom with a private shower and a separate toilet. Additionally, you will find a comfortable bed, TV, WiFi, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, and a dining area. We provide bed linen and towels, and upon request, we can arrange for an additional bed in the same room or a cot, free of charge.

Enjoy a tranquil and pleasant stay with a separate entrance and a breathtaking view. Breakfast is included and can be served on our terrace, weather permitting, or in the owners' dining room (only on weekends), or in the comfort of your room if you prefer.

Please note that the rates are as follows: 55 per night for 1 person, 60 per night for 2 people, and 70 per night for 3 people. We offer a 10% discount per night for stays of 3 nights or more.

If you would like to see photos of our establishment, please do not hesitate to request them. For initial inquiries, please contact us via email.

Directions

To reach your destination in Beauquesne, follow these directions:
If you are already in Beauquesne, head out of the village on the D31 towards Raincheval. After about 1km, you'll see a path on your right with a sign indicating "orchards of Valvion." Take this path and continue until you reach a road. Turn left onto the road and you'll find the courtyard of the big house.

If you are coming from Amiens on the D31, make sure to bypass Beauquesne. Instead, continue straight until you reach Puchevillers. Once in Puchevillers, go straight for approximately 2km and then turn left. After 300m, turn left again onto another road with a sign indicating "orchards of Valvion." The house you are looking for will be at the end of this road. Enter the courtyard of the big house once you arrive.
