This house is full of spacious and comfortable architecture, offering beautiful views overlooking the forest to the south. It is located in a peaceful, green setting, yet close to the village center. Children will have access to a playground, and the first hiking trails are just 100 meters away.The house comes with two parking spaces, a beautifully landscaped garden with flowers and trees, as well as outdoor games. There is also a large terrace with a garden table, chairs, and a gas barbecue for outdoor dining.
In the nearby village of Illfurth, just 300 meters from the cottage, you will find convenient amenities such as a lovely bakery, a friendly butcher, a press-tobacco shop, and a small grocery store. There is also a traditional restaurant called "Le Coq", an Irish pub, and a Carrefour supermarket. Other amenities include a fromager, pharmacy, hair salons, a library, doctors, dentists, physiotherapists, a chiropodist, and a charming market that takes place on Thursday mornings. There is even a bicycle repairman in the village.
The house itself is spacious, bright, and an ideal base for exploring the Alsace region, Switzerland, and Germany. It can accommodate up to six people and offers a large south facing balcony, a patio, and a closed garden of 500 m2.
There are many attractions and activities in the vicinity, including a visit to the Ecomuseum in Ungersheim and the Bioscope. There are also numerous hiking trails that lead towards the Vosges mountains, where you can visit the Grand Ballon or Markstein. The house is located near Altkirch and is just 15 minutes away from the train station in the center of Mulhouse, which offers an exhibition park and a car museum. It is also 35 minutes away from the Euro-airport Basel in Switzerland, as well as Freiburg and Mulhouse. Strasbourg can be reached within 1 hour and 15 minutes via the A35. Colmar, with its famous Wine Route and the impressive High Koenigsbourg Castle, is just 35 minutes away. If you enjoy skiing, there is a ski resort located 30 minutes away.
