Description:

Description for B&B:

This art deco style villa is steeped in history, having been designed by the renowned architect George Letélié (Prix de Rome) and executed by Pierre Grizet, the city architect of La Rochelle in the 1950s. Grizet's expertise can be seen in his numerous contributions to the city's architectural landscape.

Recently renovated in early 2016, great care has been taken to preserve the villa's original charm and character. The original features have been seamlessly integrated into a modern and exotic decor, highlighted by an enchanting array of tropical plants.

Villa Verde is conveniently located near the heart of the old city, with attractions such as Place de Verdun, Vieux Port, and Competition Beach just a stone's throw away. However, it is situated in a peaceful corner away from the bustling city center, providing a tranquil retreat in its own little garden. Expect nothing less than serenity and relaxation at Villa Verde, ensuring a truly successful stay.

As a Franco-Brazilian couple, we are delighted to welcome you to our guest house, which boasts an ideal location for you to make the most of your time in La Rochelle.

Our utmost desire is to create a warm and inviting atmosphere, where you will quickly feel at home.
