The farmhouse, originally built in 1838, has been transformed into a charming Bed & Breakfast featuring 5 cozy rooms. Adjacent to the farmhouse is the Blue Lagoon, a versatile recreation building that caters to sports, games, art, workshops, weddings, festivities, and reception room rentals. Additionally, we have set up a mini camping area in the meadow.

Each of our 5 bedrooms boasts a private bathroom and separate toilet. They are uniquely themed, inspired by beautiful and cherished places around the world. All bedrooms offer picturesque views of the garden and the stunning mountains beyond. We offer 5 double rooms.

PtitMonde enjoys a prime location near Col de Bonhomme, Hohneck, and the lakes of Xonrupt Longemer and Gérardmer. From our terrace, guests can catch a glimpse of the Route de Crêtes. Whether you are an outdoor enthusiast seeking tranquility or a motorcycle enthusiast, our property provides the ideal setting for rest and relaxation. Our meticulously maintained sunny garden offers numerous spots to unwind, including by the pond, in a hammock, on the grass, or in one of the shaded sitting areas. The Blue Lagoon is the perfect place for ping-pong, table football, enjoying music, or exploring our mini flea market.

During the winter months, PtitMonde warmly welcomes ski enthusiasts, with the nearby ski resorts of La Bresse, Gérardmer, and Lac Blanc within easy reach. Next to our property, a beautiful snowshoe trail awaits. After a day of adventure, guests can cozy up near the fireplace in the central living room, where they can indulge in glühwein or hot cocoa.

Food lovers will be delighted with the culinary experience at PtitMonde. Our meals are meticulously prepared using fresh ingredients. Each dish reflects the flavors and cuisines we have encountered during our travels around the world. Our three-course dinner offers a gastronomic journey across the globe.

Start your day with our generous buffet breakfast, and surprise yourself with a delicious PtitMonde lunch. In the evening, indulge in a three-course dinner featuring dishes from various international cuisines. We take pride in using fresh produce, with many ingredients sourced from our own vegetable garden. Vegetarian options are also available.

For coffee aficionados, our luxury coffee bean espresso machine offers a wide range of options, from ristrettos to latte macchiatos. Tea lovers will appreciate our extensive selection of (herbal) teas, including our homemade blends. We can accommodate gluten allergies upon request and offer options for those following the food hourglass diet by Chris Verburgh.

If you prefer to have lunch on-the-go, we can provide you with our convenient lunchboxes, including fruits, snacks, soft drinks, and a choice of French bread or homemade bread sandwiches.

Our buffet breakfast features homemade bread, fresh fruits, boiled eggs, croissants, chocolate bread, homemade brioche, or fresh French bread from the local bakery. It also includes cottage cheese, muesli, tea/coffee, freshly squeezed fruit juices, homemade jams, honey, butter, cheese, and cold meats.

Coffee and tea are complimentary throughout your stay. The entire Bed and Breakfast is equipped with central heating, ensuring your comfort in all seasons.

Description for Gite

Our gîte, named "Grand Voyage," offers a spacious and well-equipped accommodation for up to 6 people. It features an open kitchen, a comfortable living room, and three cozy bedrooms, each designed for two people.

The kitchen/living room area measures 33 square meters, while the bedrooms range from 16 to 21 square meters. Every bedroom is equipped with its own bathroom and toilet, ensuring privacy and convenience for all guests.

In terms of amenities, the gîte provides a 4-burner electric plate, an oven, and a microwave for your cooking needs. Additionally, there is a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, as well as a kettle and coffee maker. WiFi is also available for your convenience.

The gîte is available for rent for a minimum of 4 days and is suitable for guests aged 16 years and older. It is located within the same building as the chambre d'hôtes, allowing gîte residents to enjoy all the facilities offered to chambre d'hôtes guests. These include a TV room, an information corner, a garden, a recreation room with a piano and table tennis table, a washing machine, and a minibar. Guests can also opt for the breakfast buffet and indulge in an enjoyable evening at the table d'hôtes.

The rental price for the gîte is 175 euros per day, which includes cleaning costs, bed linen and towels, electricity, and heating. Please note that the price does not include the tourist tax, which amounts to 0.50 euros per person per night. From October 1 to May 1, there is an additional charge of 15 euros per day for heating costs.

Directions

Travel Directions:
To reach your destination at PtitMonde, follow these travel directions starting from Luxembourg:
1. Head in the direction of Metz and Nancy.
2. Continue in the direction of Strasbourg and Colmar.
3. Before reaching Colmar (approximately 40km away), you will pass Saint Dié. Take the Gerardmer exit.
4. After driving for about 15km, at the roundabout in Anould, follow the sign for Fraize.

Now, follow these steps to reach PtitMonde:
1. After the roundabout, take the second street on your right, which is located about 500m after the roundabout. Look for the LogoPtitMondeOnline.
2. Stay to the left on Rue Jeanne dArc, which is a long and winding road.
3. After approximately 1km, take the first left.
4. Continue on this road for about 2.5km until you reach a T-junction. At the junction, turn right following the sign for PtitMonde.
5. After 200m, you will arrive at your destination: PtitMonde. Follow the signs to the parking area and check in at the Entrance.
6. You can conveniently load and unload your belongings at the entrance.
