Description for B&B:

The island of Désirade, located off Guadeloupe, is approximately a 30-minute boat ride away from St. Francis. The Blue House, situated in Baie-Mahault, is the last village before reaching the port for boats to the island. Spanning 12 kilometers in length and 2 kilometers in width, the island has only one road on the mountain side that slopes gently towards the sea, while the other side is steep. Désirade is a tranquil haven, far removed from the hustle and bustle of the world, characterized by its peacefulness and charming inhabitants. The constant trade winds provide a refreshing breeze, bringing a sense of coolness to the house. The house itself is surrounded by a fully blooming garden and is located 400 meters from the beach, which is protected by a 300-meter coral reef. The sandy bottom of the water creates a calm pool-like area spanning approximately 15,000 square meters. Coconut palms along the waterfront provide shade, while the golden sand, pleasant breeze, ample sunshine, and gentle warmth contribute to an overall sense of well-being.
