Welcome to "Au fil de l'eau," our charming 17th-century cottage located just a stone's throw away from two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Carcassonne and the Canal du Midi. Immerse yourself in the enchanting surroundings of this completely renovated gite.Situated at the entrance of Montolieu, a picturesque book village nestled by the river, this characterful cottage offers a cozy living/dining room with a fireplace and a convertible sofa. The fully equipped kitchen, featuring a vaulted carved stone ceiling, opens onto a sunny terrace of 30m2 with breathtaking views of the river and garden.
The cottage boasts two double bedrooms, one with a 1m60 bed and the other with a 1m40 bed. The bathroom, adorned with an antique bath and an Italian shower, also includes a WC. Stay connected with our free WIFI connection and enjoy outdoor dining with the provided barbecue on the terrace. Je conseille vivement de passer des vacances chez Sabine et Bart. La maison est atypique. La terrasse est enivrante. La nature est exceptionnelle.
Sabine nous reçoit à merveille. Tout est prêt dès notre arrivée. Pour bien commencer les vacances, elle nous reçoit avec une petite attention. Sabine est toujours à l'écoute pour trouver une solution (location de voiture) et propose des activités intéressantes.

Directions
To travel from Carcassonne to Toulouse, take the RN113 road and pass through Pezens. Afterward, make a right turn towards Moussoulens. At the roundabout in Moussoulens, continue in the direction of Montolieu. Once you reach Montolieu, follow the signs for Alzonne. The house you are looking for is located a short distance ahead, on the left side, just before the bridge.
