Description:

Description for B&B:

I am a historic house that has been renovated in 2016/17 to provide all the necessary comforts. Nestled amidst a lush green landscape, I offer a peaceful retreat where your children and pets can play freely without any worries about grumpy neighbors or busy roads. Despite the serene surroundings, you won't feel isolated as I am located in the heart of a small village with a population of 500 people. Within walking distance, you will find a bakery/pastry shop, a small grocery store, and a café-restaurant. In case you need to do more extensive shopping, there are supermarkets in Corlay (4.5kms away), Rostrenen, and Pontivy. The stunning Saint-Brieuc Bay and its beautiful beaches are just a 40-minute drive away.

If you enjoy nature, there are plenty of wonderful walks to explore in the wild surroundings. Additionally, there are numerous attractions to visit nearby, such as Lake Guerlédan (15 minutes away) and the Armorique Regional Park.

Inside the house, the ground floor features a spacious living room and lounge area measuring 50m2. It is furnished with a comfortable sofa bed and has an American-style kitchen equipped with all the necessary amenities. For chilly evenings, you can light a fire in the salamander fireplace (wood is provided). There is also a bathroom/laundry room and a toilet on the ground floor.

Upstairs, you will find two bedrooms. One has a king-size bed (160x200) and a child bed (70x145), while the other has a double bed (140x190) and a single bed (90x190). There is also an alcove with a single bed. An additional bathroom with a shower and toilet is located on this floor. The house underwent a complete renovation in 2016, ensuring it has all the necessary comforts for a delightful holiday. You can even enjoy listening to vinyl records on the stereo system. For outdoor cooking, there is a barbecue/rotisserie available.

Please note that the house has a septic tank, which is common in rural areas. Therefore, it is important to use only septic tank-friendly cleaning products and avoid throwing anything into the toilet. Cleaning products compatible with septic tanks are provided for your convenience.

To ensure the safety of your children, the staircase is secured both at the top and bottom. Additionally, there are recreational activities available in the garden, including badminton, table football, and a swing.

Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by a friendly young woman who will assist with the check-in process and cleaning if you prefer not to handle it yourself. Her services are available at a rate of 15 per hour. Your deposit will be fully refunded upon departure if everything is in order.
