Description:

Description for Gite

Welcome to this charming cottage located in a renovated old farmhouse forge. With a focus on health and wellbeing, the cottage has been transformed using allergen-free materials and is maintained with organic products. This makes it the perfect choice for individuals with allergies, although anyone can enjoy the healthy atmosphere it provides.

While preserving its rural regional architectural character, the cottage also offers modern comforts. It combines functionality with remarkable amenities and boasts a delightful view from both its north and south sides. The thick adobe construction of the cottage ensures that it remains pleasantly cool even during hot temperatures.

To cater to your specific needs and preferences, we offer the option to reserve baby equipment such as beds, high chairs, baths, bottle warmers, pots, and wooden parks. Additionally, bed and/or toilet linen and final cleaning services can also be arranged.

We warmly welcome guests from early April to mid-November. During your stay, you will have access to a large swimming pool measuring 16m x 5m, which is wheelchair accessible. The pool consists of three sections, not separated from each other. The small bath section features an access ramp for individuals with reduced mobility, along with a balneo corner equipped with massaging nozzles. This section has a depth of approximately 60cm.

The intermediate part of the pool has the same surface area as the small bath section and offers a gradual slope from 60cm to 1.50m in depth. The final part measures 5m x 6m and has a depth of 1.50m. Both of these sections are equipped with submerged holding bars, located around ten centimeters below the water line. These bars are beneficial for individuals with limited lower limb mobility and can also be used for aquagym exercises (details available on-site).

The pool is a saltwater pool, well-positioned for sun exposure, and partially heated. It is secured by a 1.40m barrier and a perimeter alarm, ensuring safety for all guests. Additionally, we offer a 5-seater spa upon reservation (starting from €20, depending on the number of people) as well as massage services (also available upon reservation, starting from €20, except on Saturdays).

In addition to the pool and spa, you can enjoy our large trampoline (4.40m in diameter) and table tennis table. We strive to provide everything you need for a dream vacation.

Don't hesitate to contact us now to secure your reservation and start planning your perfect getaway!

Directions

To reach your destination, follow these modified travel directions:
Exit at Feurs from motorway A72. Take the left turn onto D 1089, heading towards Boën. After crossing over the motorway, take a left towards Poncins. Continue on this road until you reach the village of Poncins. Once in Poncins, proceed straight, passing the town hall, and make a right turn towards Montverdun. The distance from this point is approximately 3.5 km. Look out for a small narrow bridge, followed by a straight road. Pass by "Les Perrichons" and "Clos de la Renardine", then navigate through a slight turn and continue straight. Soon after, you'll notice a farm on your right, followed by a zone of undergrowth. The house you are looking for is located just beyond this undergrowth, on the right side. It may be visible only at the last moment. Look for parking marked by signposts displaying "Clévacances", "Le Routard", and "TopRural" on the two pillars of the gate.
