2. Les Poutres: This character-filled bedroom offers a double bed and an additional single bed if needed. The room features an abundance of beams and provides a view of the side of the house. Its en-suite shower room with a WC offers views of the front of the house, the river, and the 12th Century Abbey Chapel of Sainte Croix.

3. La Voliere: This spacious bedroom features a double bed and an optional additional single bed. Its en-suite shower room with a WC provides a comfortable stay. Guests can admire the many beams in the room and enjoy views of the river, Ville Haute, and the medieval Chateau.

Excellent souvenir de mon passage à "Sainte-Croix" avec 4 amis randonneurs. Très chaleureux accueil de Nicole & John passionnés de leur village d'adoption (et d'origine pour Nicole) Angles sur Anglin.
Très bonne qualité d'hébergement avec un plus pour la piscine mise à disposition et le charmant petit-déjeuner pris sur la terrasse avant de continuer notre chemin ..

Angles-sur-LAnglin, a village located in Central France, sits approximately 150 kms inland from La Rochelle on the Atlantic coast and about 45 kms North-East of Poitiers. Tours is situated approximately 100 kms North-West. To reach the village, take the A10 Autoroute and exit at Chatellerault-Nord, which is about 30 kms west. Alternatively, if you are coming from the east, take the A20 Autoroute and exit at 15, north of Argenton-sur-Creuse, which is about 60 kms east.

For those arriving by air, Poitiers has an International Airport called Poitiers Biard, offering daily direct flights from London Stansted with Ryanair. Additionally, there are daily connections to the Air France regional hub at Lyon, providing onward worldwide connections via Paris. Tours also has an International Airport, Tours Val de Loire, with daily flights from London Stansted with Ryanair.

If you prefer to travel by train, Poitiers is on the main TGV train line from Paris to Bordeaux. There are direct connections from the London Eurostar at Lille, allowing for a seamless journey to Poitiers on a daily basis. The Lille TGV also stops at Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport, providing convenient onward connections to regional UK and other international destinations. Please note that Chatellerault railway station is closer to the village than Poitiers but has fewer stopping trains.

For those driving to Angles-sur-LAnglin, Sainte Croix is located near the river in the Ville Basse. Upon exiting the bridge from the village centre, it will be immediately on your right. We are situated opposite the Abbey Church of Sainte Croix.
