Description for B&B:

Welcome to our 19th-century guest house in Green Périgord, Dordogne Roche Chalais. Laure and Patrice Cochin are delighted to have you and invite you to experience a warm and convivial atmosphere born out of passion and tradition. We offer five guest rooms, perfect for a stopover or a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Located on the borders of three departments (Gironde, Charente, and Charente Maritime) and four former provinces (Perigord, Guyenne, Saintonge, and Aquitaine), our village in Dordogne serves as an excellent starting point for exploring the countryside and engaging in various activities. You can discover the Dronne River, which offers both relaxation and sport fishing opportunities. The vast forest of the Double, with its heart in the 33ha pond Jemaye, is ideal for walks and hikes. Additionally, Charente boasts Aubeterre-sur-Dronne, one of the most beautiful villages in France, and further south, you can explore the renowned city of St Emilion. Bordeaux and Arcachon are also within reach.

The Perigord region, rich in history and natural beauty, offers countless architectural and natural wonders, including country houses, medieval towns, and miles of castles. Indulge in the delicious dishes prepared with the generous products of this land, such as foie gras, confit, duck breast, mushrooms, truffles, cabécou, nuts, and strawberries. In just an hour, you can visit Bergerac and its 13,000 hectares of vineyards, while Périgeux, Brantome, Nontron (White Périgord), and Sarlat (Perigord Noir) are also waiting to be explored.

There is so much more left for you to discover!

Excellent accueil, très belle chambre... déjà parfait. En plus, proposition d'un repas le soir, de même teneur ! une adresse à conserver, pour y revenir le plus tôt possible .
