Situated on the picturesque banks of the Rhone River, this charming Dauphinoise residence, dating back to 1680, is a small castle in Vertrieu village. The village is also home to two other castles, with the oldest dating back to the 13th century. Our house consists of two apartments and five guest rooms, including a suite. The landscape offers a truly relaxing experience with stunning views of the Bugey mountains. Surrounded by a peaceful park spanning over 8000 m2, the property directly overlooks the Rhone River.

After three years of extensive renovation work, our home has been transformed into a tranquil sanctuary, offering a range of modern and stylish accommodations. With over 30 years of experience as a decorator, I have curated a cozy atmosphere that remains practical, using mainly French-made materials of unparalleled quality. The luxurious linens provided are from our renowned Home CASSIOPEE collection, which is highly regarded in the boating, hospitality, and luxury hotel industries. We also feature a selection of decorative objects, paintings, and sculptures by well-known artists, whose value continues to appreciate.

All decorative objects and the majority of the paintings and sculptures are available for purchase, allowing our guests to appreciate the pieces in a real context and envision them in their own interiors.

Our accommodations include:

- Apartment: A 27 m2 space with a 140 bed, fully equipped kitchen, shower, toilet, and complimentary linen and toiletries. We provide Nespresso coffee capsules, tea, kettle, toaster, microwave, bathrobes, hairdryer, and a flat-screen satellite TV.

- Past Present Room: Features a 140 bed with an additional mattress, shower, toilet, complimentary linen and toiletries, Nespresso coffee capsules, TNT TV with a large flat-screen, bathrobes, hairdryer, and a side view. The trendy color scheme is mustard and white, and daily cleaning is provided.

- Romantic Room: Offers a 160 bed, shower, toilet, complimentary linen and toiletries, Nespresso coffee capsules, satellite TV with a large flat-screen, bathrobes, hairdryer, and an entrance view. The trendy color scheme is pink, and daily cleaning is provided.

- Marine Room: Features a 160 bed, shower, toilet, complimentary linen and toiletries, Nespresso coffee capsules, flat-screen satellite TV, bathrobes, hairdryer, and a view of the park and Rhone River. The trendy color scheme is blue, and daily cleaning is provided.

- Racer Room: Offers a 160 bed, shower, toilet, complimentary linen and toiletries, Nespresso coffee capsules, TNT TV with a large flat-screen, bathrobes, hairdryer, and an entrance view. The trendy color scheme is red, and daily cleaning is provided.

- Following the Current Room: Features a 160 bed with an additional mattress, shower, toilet, living room equipped with a 160 sleeping bench for two, dressing room, complimentary linen and toiletries, Nespresso coffee capsules, satellite TV with a large flat-screen, bathrobes, hairdryer, and the most breathtaking view of the park and Rhone River. The trendy color scheme is gray and orange, and daily cleaning is provided.

Geographically located in the heart of the Blue Valley, with 834 km of biking trails (Via Rhôna) and in close proximity to the Ain plain, our property is the ideal destination for a relaxing holiday, work trip, or training session at one of France's major centers, including EDF. The Alps are just an hour away, offering breathtaking natural spaces and a river teeming with richness. The surrounding nature provides a constant sense of peace and tranquility.

If traveling with children, there are nearby parks for climbing trees and an amusement park called Walibi. The area also offers safe cycling routes and beginner-friendly walking trails. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the Balme Caves, the medieval town of Pérouges, and the bird park in Villars-les-Dombes. For thrill-seekers, there are options like rafting and jet skiing on the Rhone River.

Our property is easily accessible, located 40 km from Lyon, 18 km from the A42 Lagnieu exit, or 1 hour and 15 minutes from Geneva via the A42 Ambérieu exit. The closest airport is Saint Exupéry, just 35 km away, a 35-minute drive.
