Welcome to "The Caminade" in the charming village of Bourg de Bigorre, situated at the base of the Pyrenees. This historic farmhouse, dating back to 1876, has been lovingly restored to its original state, offering a unique and comfortable experience. Nicole and Gerald, the proud owners, warmly invite you to share in the beauty of their home.We have three spacious rooms available for our guests, two on the ground floor and one on the upper level. You will also have access to our refreshing swimming pool, accompanied by a terrace furnished with reclining chairs and patio furniture, perfect for relaxation.
Whether you prefer a short stay or a longer retreat, we offer both individual nights and weekly bookings. If you wish to prepare your own meals, we provide a hot plate, fridge, and sink for your convenience. Alternatively, you are welcome to join our family evening meal, which showcases the finest local produce and can be enjoyed either around the dining table or by the pool.

Endroit où nous allons régulièrement. Accueil chaleureux, cadre magnifique, propreté des lieux et bon goût de la décoration. L'espace commun est une vraie réussite. Chambres spacieuses (nous avons trois enfants).

To reach Caminade, follow these travel directions:
If you are coming from Toulouse:
1. Take motorway A64 (Toulouse-Bayonne).
2. Take Exit Capvern N°15.
3. Head towards Capvern center, following D938.
4. Continue on D938 and take a left onto D14 towards Mauvezin Escaladieu.
5. Follow D14 until you reach Bourg de Bigorre.
If you are coming from Pau:
1. Take motorway A64 (Toulouse-Bayonne).
2. Take Exit n°14 towards Tournay.
3. Continue on N117 towards Tournay center.
4. Go through Tournay and head towards Ozon.
5. Take D14 towards Abbey Escaladieu and Bourg de Bigorre.
If you prefer to travel by train:
- The nearest train stations are Tournay station (10Kms) and Lannemezan station (15 Kms).
If you prefer to travel by plane:
- The nearest airports are Tarbes-Lourdes airport (30kms), Pau airport (80Kms), and Toulouse airport (130 Kms).
Once you reach Bourg, look for a red hut on the left side of the road.
Turn left at the red hut and continue uphill for 200m.
Congratulations, you have arrived at Caminade.
