Located in the beautiful Cumeadas do Baixo Guadiana region, this place offers breathtaking natural beauty and is perfect for rural tourism. A century-old farmhouse, along with its barn and stables, has been converted into five self-catering apartments that provide a comfortable stay. The restoration has carefully preserved the architectural style of the Algarve.

The apartments are fully equipped with a kitchenette, utensils, linens, toiletries, duvets, wood, and climatization. Every detail has been taken care of to make you feel at home.

There is a front yard that serves as a common area, where you can relax, have an aperitif, enjoy a barbecue, or take a nap under the porch.

The apartments are spread across different floors and can accommodate 2 to 6 people. We offer airport pick-up and transportation from the train or bus station. We also welcome pets, so feel free to bring them along.

Domingos and Anabela, the hosts, have made this valley their home and invite you to enjoy its natural beauty and historical heritage with your family and friends. Welcome to our home, where we don't have customers, but friends.

In terms of activities, we offer a wide range of options such as gymkhanas, guided walks, 4x4 excursions, horse-related activities, and shuttle services. For nature enthusiasts, there are activities like birdwatching, farming, and walking. Adventure activities include canoeing, paintball, trekking, and horseback riding. We also offer leisure and cultural activities, as well as the option to rent horses.

The Houses of Old Haystack is located in Castro Marim, a small town near the border with Spain. The houses have been carefully restored, preserving the traditional architecture of the region. Traditional materials like sugar cane, lime, wood, stone, and tile have been used, along with wool for insulation.

Environmental preservation is a top priority, with domestic waste water being treated and used for irrigation. The houses consist of three bedrooms and two suites, all equipped with TV, air conditioning, and private bathrooms. Other amenities include a breakfast room, garden, pool, barbecue, and parking.

Surrounded by nature, with stunning views, this peaceful setting allows you to observe agricultural workers and grazing fields. We are also conveniently located near golf courses, a dam, and the beautiful beaches of Monte Gordo.
