The house, constructed in the mid-1600s, exudes an abundance of character and charm. It boasts exposed oak beams, window seats, an inviting inglenook fireplace, and charming flagged floors. Within, a cozy TV lounge with an open log fire welcomes guests, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our sitting room houses a wide array of books and games, and guests are encouraged to indulge in the pleasure of playing the piano and other musical instruments. Each of our snug bedrooms is adorned with period features and furnished with great care, ensuring a delightful stay. These bedrooms also feature small en-suite facilities for the convenience of our guests.

The large riverside garden, a sanctuary for wildlife, is a source of tranquility and scenic beauty. Visitors to our garden can frequently spot the kingfisher, a beloved regular visitor. For the enjoyment of children, we have provided a small play area complete with a swing, trampoline, garden games, and boating opportunities (subject to river conditions).

From Monday to Thursday, we offer evening meals prepared with fresh local produce. Our menu features beloved traditional dishes such as Roast Beef and Yorkshires, alongside Beryl's renowned bread and butter pudding. Furthermore, our full English breakfast is the perfect start to your day. All meals are served around our large oak table, providing an opportunity to share the day's events with fellow guests.
