Description:

Description for B&B:

Véronique and Jean Pierre Duleux have established their residence, known as Domaine de la Carrère, in a historic building dating back to the 17th century. This remarkable estate has been inhabited by nobles, merchants, and traders throughout its existence and was constructed during the reign of Louis XIV, also known as the Sun King. Situated in Arthez-de-Béarn, within the Pyrénées Atlantiques region, Domaine de la Carrère is conveniently located between the captivating city of Henri IV, PAU (just 20 minutes away), which embodies the pinnacle of French culture, dynamism, and beauty, and the vibrant coastal town of BIARRITZ (only 40 minutes away). Additionally, it is surrounded by the magnificent Pyrenees Mountains and is within an hour's drive from Spain, while also being a mere 10 minutes from ORTHEZ.

Our photo collection showcases two typical, spacious bedroom suites featuring dressing rooms, complete with either two 4-ft single beds or an antique double bed. These suites are also equipped with en-suite large shower rooms, including a power shower, double sink unit, toilet, hairdryer, dressing gowns, and toiletries. Furthermore, each suite provides tea and coffee facilities and a television for your convenience.

Should you desire, we offer a high-quality Table d'hôtes (dinner) experience, which includes an apéritif, starter, main course, dessert, wine, and coffee. Simply request this option, and we will be delighted to provide you with this exceptional dining experience.

Véronique and Jean Pierre warmly welcome you to their home and will ensure your comfort and satisfaction while also respecting your privacy.

Directions

Can you tell me the route to reach there? Flights from London to the airports of Biarritz or Pau are available every day, and during the summer, there are also flights from Bristol. Another option is to drive by taking the ferry from Portsmouth to St Malo and then returning via Bilbao. You can find a map of Arthez de Béarn on our website.
