Description:

Description for B&B:

This private house offers comfortable guest rooms at a nightly rate, operating similarly to a guest house or hostel. It features three rooms in a traditional terrace, with two bathrooms available. The house exudes rustic charm while also providing modern amenities, making it a perfect fit for those in the music, art, or academic fields. Located on a quiet road in a lively area, there are numerous cafes and restaurants nearby. The house offers easy access to the city center and all airports, as it is situated in Finsbury Park Tube zone 2. Please note that the rooms do not have en-suite bathrooms, but gowns and towels are provided. One of the rooms has a bathroom located next door. Additionally, guests are required to be out of the house between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm daily due to insurance reasons, which allows for convenient access to and sightseeing in zones 1 and 2.

Directions

To get to the airports, you can take the Victoria or Picadilly Lines on the tube. These lines are the same for Stanstead, Gatwick, and Heathrow Airports, or you can go to the main station arrivals. Most airports are about 1 hour away, but the most direct route is through Stanstead, Luton, or Heathrow. From Stanstead Airport, take the Liverpool Street train and get off at Seven Sisters or Tottenham Hale Tube. Finsbury Park is only 1 or 2 stops away. From Heathrow, take the Picadilly Line, and from Gatwick, take the Victoria Line to get to the nearest tube station, Finsbury Park. It takes about 20 minutes from Finsbury Park to get to the city center on the tube. Then, you can take the W7 bus, which will take you home in about 5 to 10 minutes. My tube stop is Finsbury Park, which is in zone 2, while the bus is in zone 3. If you want a cheaper option, it is recommended to get a Travel Card. When you arrive at Finsbury Park, go upstairs, turn right to the back of the station, and wait for the W7 bus at the main road. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach Holly Park, which is about 5 to 10 minutes away or 3 to 4 stops. Once you get off the bus, go back one road and you will find my house halfway down on the left with a light purple door. If you need a minicab, you can call HERCULES at 0207 272 6666, or there is a minicab office near the W7 bus stop. It will cost approximately £40-50 to go to the airports and a few pounds to get to my house. This might be a cheaper option if you are traveling with more than one person. Currently, parking is free between 5pm and 9.45am on weekdays. If you need to leave your car between 10am and 2pm and are not staying overnight, please request vouchers which cost £5 per session. Additionally, you can investigate the London Pass at londonpass.com for cheaper travel and entrance to various sites. It is also recommended to arrange an Oyster Card in advance for easy travel.
