Situated on the historic grounds of the Scottish kings and occupying the space where a 12th-century fortress once stood, Bruce Castle is an impressive residence built in the elegant architectural style of the 18th century. Nestled amidst beautiful grounds and encompassing 25 acres of tranquil woodland, our guests can expect a serene and rejuvenating experience during their stay. It is our pleasure to extend a warm welcome and assist you in exploring the vibrant and diverse region of the Contentin peninsula. We are pleased to offer three double rooms, each featuring a private shower or bath and toilet, at the affordable rate of 110 to 130 €, inclusive of a delicious breakfast.

Directions

To reach the castle grounds, follow these travel directions: After Valognes, continue for 8 km and then take the exit D119 towards Brix-Sottevast-Ruffosses, and follow the road towards Brix (D119) which will later merge into the D50. As you approach the village of Brix, look for a turn just before the church. The entrance to the castle grounds is located 30m on the left side.
