Description:

Description for B&B:

Françoise and Yves have lovingly restored the old nineteenth-century café in the charming village. Now, it stands as an inviting building with vibrant turquoise shutters, a pergola at the front, and a secluded garden at the back, nestled against a hill adorned with trees and flowers of various species.

Inside, there are four comfortable bedrooms, each offering a unique experience. One of them is situated within the antique shop itself, boasting period décor. Yves, a skilled cabinetmaker, has expertly restored the furniture, which is diligently managed by Françoise. She came up with the brilliant idea of allowing guests to sleep amidst the treasures unearthed from the region, creating an unforgettable experience.

The furniture throughout the shop has been meticulously restored, and the shop itself has been redecorated, blending modern elements with the collection of exquisite walnut chests of drawers from the era of Louis-Philippe, country tables, rustic cupboards, vintage glassware, delicate slip pots, dazzling chandelier pendants, and stunning glazed pottery. It's a place that will leave you delighted and in awe.

Above the carpenter's workshop, you'll find a bright and airy room, adorned with posters that the owners have collected over the years, many of which are from the renowned Hauterives annual jazz festival. This cozy room is furnished with charm and offers a kettle, coffee, and a fridge available in the lobby, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay.

The best BnB we've every stayed in
Review by: Teresa McCarthy , Juil 22 2023 9:23AM
Françoise and Yves have thought of everything and have added wonderful things such as homemade juice and conserves to Fresh croissants and bread each day. The apartment lacked absolutely nothing and they gave us lots of information for our stay. Wonderful facilities and garden to enjoy and right in tow. Thank you
