Description for B&B:

Introducing our charming and comfortable cottage for the year 2020. This lovely retreat, perfect for 4 to 5 guests, offers the additional option of a sofa bed. Nestled in the heart of rural Côtes dArmor, on the border of Morbihan, it is just a 20-minute drive from the vibrant medieval town of Josselin, renowned for its impressive chateau on the Nantes-Brest Canal. With minimal passing traffic, tranquility is guaranteed, ensuring a peaceful rest.

As your hosts, we reside next door and eagerly await your arrival. To make your stay even more enjoyable, we provide a welcome pack and complimentary breakfast on the first morning.

The cottage itself boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere, with a private garden complete with a BBQ for your relaxation after a day of exploring beautiful Brittany. All necessary bedding, towels, and tea towels are thoughtfully provided, while the kitchen is fully equipped for your convenience. Featuring an open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area, a delightful wood burner adds to the cozy ambiance (alternative heating options are also available). Stay connected with Wi-Fi and enjoy a selection of English and French TV channels. Parking spaces are available on-site.

Well-behaved pets are welcome, and smoking is prohibited. For the little ones, we offer outdoor activities such as a swing, ball games, a football table, and a dart board. Our location allows for easy access to various seaside resorts, including the Gulf of Morbihan, the Atlantic coast, and the wild granite coast in northern Brittany, all within an hour's drive. Inland, there are numerous sites to explore, along with many restaurants to savor local cuisine.

Additional nearby attractions include Aquaval in Merdrignac (24km), the nautical base of Plémet (16km), and Kingoland in Plumelin (48km). We highly recommend visiting the Abbaye of Notre Dame de Trimadeuc in Bréhan (7km) or the Abbaye de Bon Repos in St Gelven (40km). During July and August, the open-air swimming pool in la Chèze, just a 15-minute drive away, offers a refreshing escape with its big water slide and sunbathing opportunities, including a small pool for younger swimmers. For equestrian enthusiasts, St Barnabé boasts a nearby equestrian center (15-minute drive) offering pony and horse rides throughout the year.

If you prefer not to venture to the coast, a short drive will lead you to a lake with a man-made beach and various water sports available. This picturesque destination is not to be missed.
