Description for Gite

This independent gite is located within a traditional Charentaise family property in the charming village of Sigogne. Situated in the heart of the renowned cognac fins bois vineyards, it offers a truly authentic experience. The village square boasts a magnificent church bell tower, considered one of the most beautiful in the Charente region.

The gite is spread over two floors. The first floor features a cozy living room with a corner kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed (140cm) and a single bed (90cm), as well as a separate toilet and shower room. On the second floor, you will find two bedrooms, one with a double bed (140cm) and a single bed (90cm), and the other with two single beds (90cm). There is also a shower room with a toilet. Outside, there is a terrace and a lovely garden, as well as private parking for vehicles. The private pool, although unsupervised, is available for guests to use and is shared with the owners.

During the high and very high seasons, the rental rates include all charges. For the remaining seasons, the rates include 8 KWh of electricity, unlimited domestic water usage, and gas for the cooker.

Please note that unless otherwise specified in the contract, the minimum rental period is one week, with arrivals on Saturdays after 4 pm and departures on the following Saturdays before 10 am.

The gite is well-equipped with gas central heating, making it comfortable throughout the year. Inside, you will find convenient amenities such as a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave oven, television, and DVD player. Outside, there is a terrace with barbecue facilities, patio furniture, a private pool, a ping pong table, and even a weight machine for those who like to stay active during their stay.

Directions

To go from Jarnac to Rouillac, follow these directions. As you enter Sigogne, make a right turn towards Foussignac. Keep going and then take a left onto Rue de l’Ancienne Gare (this is the last left turn before leaving the village). Follow the road as it curves left onto Rue des Ecoles, making sure to follow the one-way system around the houses. Take the second alley on the right and look for the sign that says Gites de France.
