Description for Gite

"Welcome to 'Le Vieil Aiglun,' a captivating village with a rich history dating back to the 16th century. Perched at an impressive elevation of 2,540 ft in the stunning Haute Provence region, this enchanting location offers unparalleled panoramic views of Provence, the Alps, and the Verdon area. Once abandoned by its inhabitants in the early 20th century, we have lovingly restored the remaining habitable buildings into charming and comfortable 'gîtes' (self-catering houses) boasting 3 and 4-star ratings. Nestled peacefully between Provence and the Alps, our location offers tranquility while remaining conveniently close to a small town providing all necessary amenities and a variety of dining options. Our guests can indulge in the luxury of a spacious swimming pool (13 x 6 sqm) and a beautifully landscaped garden, offering breathtaking vistas of the surrounding fields and the illuminated ancient Roman church at night. With an abundance of seating options, including chairs, armchairs, and hammocks, our garden provides the perfect setting to unwind with a good book or simply bask in the magnificence of the panoramic views. We warmly invite you to experience the wonders of 'Le Vieil Aiglun'!"
