Each room has a separate entrance and boasts unique original features such as beams, alcoves, four-poster beds, and antique floors.

Situated between Nancy and Troyes, as well as Dijon and Reims, Joinville is a small historic city that will captivate you with its rich history. Discover the former courts and old prisons, as well as the Château du Grand Jardin, two magnificent Renaissance buildings. Welcome to "Le Val du Roy" Bed and Breakfast in Joinville. We offer four uniquely decorated guest rooms that exude an authentic atmosphere, transporting you back in time. Each room is adorned with features such as canopy beds, antique furniture, traditional cupboards from the Lorraine region, and charming alcoves. The ambiance is further enhanced by exposed beams, wood paneling, and original old floors. The rooms are adorned with various antique trinkets, creating a sense of timeless charm that seems to have survived the centuries.

Despite the vintage aesthetic, we have ensured that modern comforts are seamlessly integrated into the rooms. You will find glass basins and modern showers, carefully preserving the authenticity of the space while providing the convenience of contemporary amenities. Three of the rooms have shower rooms discreetly separated by a screen, providing a spacious and private area for each guest.

The "Antoinette de Bourbon" room features a beautiful canopy bed and alcove, along with a large separate bathroom complete with an antique bathtub and shower. This room can accommodate up to three guests. The "Claude de Lorraine" room boasts an old double bed, an antique wardrobe, and various decorative elements like a baby-basket and old sewing machine. It also offers a shower, toilet, and lavabo.

In the "Jean de Joinville" room, you will find two charming corner beds, an antique wardrobe, as well as a double sink, shower, and toilet. The spacious "Mary Stuart" room is furnished with a double canopy bed with electric bedding, a sofa bed for additional guests, a dressing table, and a wardrobe. The bathroom is located on the mezzanine level. Each room is equipped with a TV, and complimentary WIFI is available throughout the house.

Guests are welcome to utilize our fully equipped kitchen, complete with a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, ceramic hob, and oven. The cozy lounge area, also equipped with a TV, offers a relaxing space to unwind. Additionally, you have direct access to our grand, old, and enclosed garden, providing a serene outdoor setting. For your convenience, a separate entrance is available to ensure your privacy and freedom of movement during your stay.

Ancienne maison très romantique, chambres décorées avec le goût d'antan. On se croirait dans un autre temps. Petit-déjeuner parfait, accueil très chaleureux. Jolie décoration partout. A recommander!

Joinville can be found in the department of Haute-Marne, situated between Dijon and Reims, Nancy and Troyes, or Chaumont and Saint-Dizier. Once you reach Joinville, make your way towards Wassy. The Hotel du Nord is located on the main road. After reaching the hotel, continue up a few meters until you spot the B&B "Le Val du Roy" on your left, at 11 Rue Camille Gillet. It is tucked behind cast iron grates at the bottom of the garden. You can park your car on the sidewalk, and the owners will provide further instructions on where to park for unloading your luggage at 22 rue du Valleroy.
