Karen and Richard warmly welcome guests to this delightful property, which features a separate house in the gardens that was originally used as a bread oven. Recently renovated into a lovely Bed & Breakfast, each spacious room, measuring 36m2, has been tastefully decorated, highlighting the original stone walls and fireplace. Guests can enjoy their own private entrance to each room, along with amenities such as ensuite shower rooms, towels, bathroom products, slippers, hairdryers, English television, Wifi, armchairs, and tea making facilities. Additionally, a terrace with tables, chairs, and sun loungers is available for guests to relax, along with a private heated swimming pool. Access to the property is through a private drive, adorned with lavender bushes. Once inside, you will discover a peaceful haven, perfect for unwinding amidst the tranquility of the gardens. Karen also offers the option of a private candlelit dinner, either in her elegant dining room or on the terrace. Le Four a Pain is conveniently situated just 5 minutes from junction 34 of the A10 autoroute, providing easy access to explore the region's architectural wonders. Furthermore, it is a mere 45 minutes away from the beautiful beaches of Royan, La Rochelle, Ile dOrleron, and the Ile de Re, as well as just 15 minutes away from the renowned vineyards of Cognac and Saintes. In Saint-Jean-dAngely itself, guests can enjoy numerous cafes, markets, a plan deau offering kayaking, pedalos, and fishing, as well as a large Atlantys swimming pool. Karen and Richard are dedicated to ensuring that your stay is as enjoyable and relaxing as possible.

Venu au Four pain en famille, nous avons pass une trs bonne journe, les propritaires sont trs accueillants et trs aimables.

Les chambres sont vraiment magnifiques et tout est anticip pour palier aux besoins des clients.

Nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir galement goter un repas d'htes simple mais sincrement excellent.

Directions

To reach our house, start from junction 34 on the A10 motorway. Follow the bypass towards Poitiers - Angoulème. At the first roundabout, continue in the direction of Poitiers - Angoulème. At the second roundabout, go straight ahead. At the third roundabout, take the third exit towards Courcelles - CD 218. Stay on this road for precisely 2 kilometers. Once you enter the village of Courcelles, immediately take the first left entrance with black gates. Our house is located at the end of this private drive.
