Description for B&B:

The Kerbeleg B&B is conveniently located just 10 minutes away from the charming painters' city of Pont-Aven and only 15 minutes from the beautiful beaches. This exquisite stone house, dating back to the 15th century, is nestled in a tranquil setting and surrounded by a sprawling 2-hectare park.

Originally built from the stones of a castle, this historic place has undergone various extensions and renovations throughout the years, transitioning from a manor house to a farm, and now serving as a delightful B&B. Your hostess, a passionate history enthusiast, will gladly satisfy your curiosity about the place. In each room, there is a book available, containing recent research on the site's fascinating past through Breton history.

Two spacious and comfortable bedrooms have been thoughtfully restored to retain the house's original character, which has been in the family for six decades. From each room, you can enjoy a picturesque view of the park, facing south for optimal sunlight.

The owner, with the help of skilled local craftsmen, has transformed Kerbeleg into a charming bed and breakfast. The farmhouse will captivate you with its choice of materials and redesigned layouts. The central point of the farmhouse is the cathedral lounge, complete with a grand fireplace, providing the perfect spot for relaxation and reading. Adjacent to it is the billiard room, a spacious living area with a stone floor and exposed beams.

A magnificent stone staircase leads from the billiard room to the two comfortable bedrooms, each with its own shower room. The separate WC is conveniently located on the landing.

The BIRDS room, boasting a large original granite fireplace, also includes a small bedroom for two children. Les OURS offers a breathtaking view of the park. La Maison à PAIN, formerly the estate's bread oven, will soon be transformed into a charming room for couples, featuring a mezzanine that can accommodate one or two additional children.

On one side of the living room, behind another impressive fireplace, you will find the kitchen, perfect for indulging in gourmet delights. Modernized and furnished with a large solid wood monastery table, it is the ideal setting for breakfast.

For leisure activities, there is a separate room with a library, table football, and a card table. On less sunny days or after returning from a hike, you can relax in this peaceful space.

When the weather permits, meals can be enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the park. If you wake up early, you may even catch a glimpse of deer, pheasants, and other wildlife.

Less than 10 minutes away from the motorway, Kerbeleg is situated amidst serene and easily accessible countryside. It serves as a perfect base for exploring the cultural sites and tourist attractions in the region, including Lorient (the city of sailing), Quimper, Concarneau with its charming old town, the picturesque small ports, the abers of South Finistère, and the stunning granite sites. Kerbeleg will be the hub for a multitude of activities during your stay.
