La Casa Nova underwent restoration in 2004, bringing the old haylofts back to life and transforming them into charming and comfortable apartments.Currently, we are delighted to offer two apartments that can accommodate a total of 4-6 people. Each apartment features a bathroom, a kitchen made of stone, and a fireplace. The typical furnishings, including wooden roofs, tiled floors, and classic Italian design, will allow you to truly experience the essence of Tuscan traditions. Additionally, the apartments are equipped with a double sofa bed and an extra flexible single bed.
The prices for each apartment, accommodating 2-3 people, are as follows:
- 60 euros per day
- 360 euros per week
These prices include breakfast, where you will find all the necessary ingredients for an Italian-style breakfast in the kitchen. We also provide you with informative tourist materials, and for longer stays, we offer weekly cleaning services.
Description for Gite
The origins of La Casa Nova date back to the 11th century, when it served as a control tower in the picturesque Tevere valley. Transitioning into a country house in the 17th century, it featured a unique "a corte chiusa" structure and was owned by the Cangi family, whose descendants continue to reside there. Recently renovated, the haylofts of La Casa Nova now offer two independent Bed & Breakfast apartments, conveniently situated in front of one of the charming gardens. Here, guests can indulge in a serene and peaceful atmosphere while lounging on comfortable chairs or hammocks.Not only does La Casa Nova provide a delightful accommodation experience, but it is also an active farmhouse. The property engages in breeding farm animals and cultivates an array of fruit trees, flowers, vegetables, crops, and even tobacco plants. Additionally, it produces top-quality honey, adding to the range of agricultural offerings available.

DIRECTIONS BY CAR:
From Milan-Bologna, take highway A14 towards Cesena. Take the Cesena nord exit and continue on E45 towards Rome-Perugia. Take the Sansepolcro sud exit and turn right towards Anghiari. When you reach the hamlet S. Fiora, turn right at the sign for "S. Croce".
From Rome, take highway A1 towards Orte. Follow E45 towards Perugia-Cesena. Take the Sansepolcro sud exit and turn left towards Anghiari. When you reach the hamlet S. Fiora, turn right at the sign for "S. Croce".
From Florence, take highway A1 towards Rome and exit at Arezzo. Follow the directions to Sansepolcro along S.S.73 and turn left towards Anghiari. When you reach the hamlet S. Fiora, turn right at the sign for "S. Croce".
DIRECTIONS BY TRAIN:
From Arezzo railway station (Italian Railways FS Milan-Rome), you can either take a taxi (28 km distance) or a bus operated by autolinee SITA to reach Sansepolcro.
DIRECTIONS BY PLANE:
If arriving at Fiumicino - Rome Airport, the distance to Sansepolcro is approximately 210 km.
If arriving at Florence Airport, the distance to Sansepolcro is approximately 102 km.
If arriving at Sant'Egidio - Perugia Airport, the distance to Sansepolcro is approximately 58 km.
