Our bed and breakfast is situated in Varennes in Argonne, at the historic site where the French Revolution unfolded. However, our house is nestled amidst the significant battlegrounds of the First World War. Our strategic location, only 20 minutes away from Verdun and amidst the enchanting forest of Argonne, makes it an ideal place to experience the history of the Great War. Yet, if you seek tranquility, our small village offers a peaceful and verdant atmosphere.

Immerse yourself in the forest with a leisurely mountain bike ride or enjoy a serene canoeing experience along the river that runs alongside our home. Additionally, you can join us for a delightful dinner at our table, where the majority of the dishes are crafted from locally sourced ingredients or homemade specialties.

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed into our beautifully renovated Lorraine-style house, where our rooms offer modern comforts while preserving the traditional charm of the region. Each room features a private bathroom and toilet, along with amenities such as WiFi, a comfortable 160x200 bed, and a television. Furthermore, our guests can bask in the pleasant weather on our terrace.
