The Boisseau rural cottage*** is located in the picturesque region of southern Burgundy, in the Morvan Regional Park. It is only 17 km away from the ancient Gallo-Roman city of Autun and 50 km from the renowned wine capital, Beaune. This charming property, dating back to the 17th century, showcases the traditional architecture of the rural Morvan area. It is a true haven for nature lovers, nestled on a hillside with stunning views of Mont Beuvray (Bibracte) that exemplify the beauty of the Haut Morvan.

The rural cottage has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to six people and is located on the first floor above the owner's own apartment. It is classified with 3 "ears of corn", indicating its high quality. The cottage offers a spacious 125 m² living space, including a 30 m² bedroom with a double bed, a 16 m² bedroom with a double bed, and a 17 m² bedroom with two single beds. There is a separate bathroom and toilet. The large living room is connected to a fully equipped kitchen, complete with a dishwasher, washing machine, television, and telephone (using a card service available from France Telecom agencies). All bed sheets and duvets are provided, and baby facilities are available. Guests also have access to a garage.

Outside, guests can enjoy the outdoor facilities, including chairs, sun umbrellas, a barbecue, and ample space for outdoor games. The property spans 1.2 hectares (3 acres) and includes the main house, two barns (one of which serves as a car shelter), an old bakery oven, a well and trough, a grassy courtyard, a meadow, a large orchard, and a kitchen garden. Domestic pets are welcome.

For those keen on exploring the natural beauty of the Morvan countryside, two adult mountain bikes are provided with the cottage rental. These bikes allow guests to discover the region's stunning landscapes through its numerous well-marked routes. Internet access is also available.
