Located in the picturesque Dordogne Valley, between the bustling towns of Souillac and Martel, lies the enchanting La Pierre Plantée. Situated in a tranquil spot along a charming walking lane, this accommodation is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet.

With the capacity to comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests, our charming abode features a cozy double bedroom and a delightful twin bedroom. During the winter months, rooms are equipped with central heating to ensure utmost comfort. Guests have access to a convenient shower room and toilet, as well as a dining area. Additionally, free Wi-Fi is available for all guests to enjoy.

Outside, a vast garden awaits, complete with a spacious terrace area perfect for relaxation and picnics. For added convenience, an outside fridge is also at guests' disposal. During the summer months, breakfast is served on the terrace, offering a delightful start to the day. Our breakfast includes homemade bread and jams, adding a touch of homemade goodness to your stay.

Directions

Directions from Souillac A20 exit: Take the D803(D703) towards Martel for approximately 4.5km (2.7 miles). When you reach the second turning to Le Pigeon Haut, make a left turn indicated by signs for La Pierre Plantée and Le Saulou. You will also notice an old white citerne tank on the corner.

If you are coming from Martel, take the D803(D703) towards Souillac for approximately 7km (4.2 miles). Opposite the turning to Le Pigeon Haut, make a right turn indicated by signs for La Pierre Plantée and Le Saulou. You will also see an old white citerne tank on the corner.

1. From the main road, the house is approximately 2.5km (1.5 miles) away. Keep going past Le Saulou garden nursery and continue for about 1.5km (1 mile) around a few bends.

2. At the crossroads signposted Bazalgues, continue straight across and go around a small bend until you reach the first turning on your left.

3. Turn left at the sign for La Pierre Plantée and keep left at the next fork in the road.

4. Continue for a short distance until the road ends and a track begins.

5. Follow the track on the left, signposted La Pierre Plantée, until you reach the house at the end.
