Description:

Description for B&B:

Situated in the scenic Perche Sarthois region, the château de Chéronne and its beautifully designed park are nestled amidst 400 hectares of lush woodlands and meadows. The front pond is adorned with the flowing Chéronne river, home to a diverse range of animal species.

The entrance gatehouse, believed to be the original castle dating back to around 1490, holds significant historical value and is recognized by the French National Trust.

Constructed during the 16th century, the castle underwent modifications in the 17th century to remove its defensive architectural elements such as moats and drawbridges. Furthermore, the main facades were restored in a splendid Renaissance style during the 19th century.
