Description for B&B:

Russell, Heather, Louis, and Henry cordially invite you to experience the exquisite comfort and opulence of their breathtaking 19th-century Chateau. Nestled in the charming village of Salechan, at the base of the Pyrenean Mountains, this meticulously restored haven promises a selection of five spacious and luxurious rooms, each boasting en-suite facilities and magnificent mountain vistas. Built in 1873, the three-story house stands secluded from the Route Nationale, offering complete privacy. The front of the house exudes grandeur, adorned with majestic marble columns and a balcony. Step inside to discover a sweeping staircase, original parquet flooring, and a unique marble fireplace in every room, among other delightful surprises.

Our enchanting rooms are thoughtfully named after the picturesque views they offer. At the front of the house, the Chambre St Julien beckons you to indulge in the splendor of two private balconies, one of which overlooks the Pyrenees, with a captivating vista of the stunning Spa town of Bagneres De Luchon. This spacious, south-facing room exudes character, featuring a lovingly restored original ceiling, parquet flooring, and an exquisite marble fireplace. The en-suite bathroom, equipped with a bath and shower, also opens onto a private south-facing balcony.

Also gracing the front of the house is the Chambre Pic Du Gar. Positioned centrally, this room treats you to comfort and serenity, with a grand balcony and breathtaking views of Pic du Gar. The generously proportioned space boasts a lofty ceiling, beautiful wooden floor, and an original fireplace, complemented by tasteful neutral decor. The en-suite bathroom offers a spacious walk-in shower and double doors that open onto a private balcony.

Join us in our beautifully wood-paneled dining room for a delectable breakfast. In the summer, the doors can be opened onto a tiled terrace, creating a truly stunning setting to savor your sumptuous continental breakfast and start your day in style.

In the evening, we invite you to return for a memorable dining experience. Our dining room, adorned with a magnificent Louis 13th chandelier, sets the perfect ambiance to indulge in local delicacies. By prior arrangement, we are delighted to welcome you to our dinner table, where your evening will commence with an aperitif, followed by a three-course meal featuring regional specialties. Your host for the evening is a seasoned caterer, and we highly recommend sampling the culinary delights that have garnered praise as the finest in the area. Your meal will be accompanied by a selection of red or white wine and conclude with coffee. Vegetarian options are available upon request. For families with young children, we are happy to accommodate earlier dining times to maintain their routines.

We look forward to extending our warm hospitality and ensuring your stay at our Chateau is a truly unforgettable experience.
