Welcome to our country cottage located in the beautiful "marais poitevin" region in the South - Vendee. Our cozy "gîte" is nestled in a tranquil rural hamlet of Baude, just 2km from Montreuil, 12km from Fontenay the Comte, and a mere 45km from la Faute sur mer and its stunning beaches. Additionally, the vibrant city of La Rochelle is only 60km away.Originally an ancient farm spanning 130m2, our gîte underwent a complete renovation in 2002, keeping true to the region's architectural style while creating a comfortable and inviting country house. With fuel-fired central heating, our gîte is suitable for year-round stays. Whether you're looking for a weekend getaway, a week-long retreat, or an extended holiday, we offer flexible length of stay options.
On the ground floor, you will find a convenient storeroom equipped with a washing machine and dryer. The well-equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, deep-freeze, dishwasher, and microwave for your culinary needs. In the living room, a color TV awaits your entertainment, and we also provide indoor games for your enjoyment. The ground floor also features a cozy double bedroom and a separate shower with a WC.
Moving to the first floor, you will discover three twin bedrooms, perfect for accommodating larger groups or families. Additionally, there is a shower room with a WC, as well as a bathroom with a WC.
