Welcome to our holiday cottage in Arces-sur-Gironde, a charming rural village in the beautiful Charente Maritime region of France. Situated on the right bank of the Gironde estuary, our cottage is just 4 kilometers away from the sea, with the nearest beaches being 8 kilometers away.

We are delighted to offer a range of amenities for families with babies, including a free baby cot, mattress, bath, bottle warmer, stroller for ages 0-3, baby diaper, and highchair.

There is an abundance of activities and attractions to enjoy in the surrounding area. From the famous Palmyre zoo and mountain bike trails to the rejuvenating spas and hydrotherapy in Saujon and Jonzac, there is something for everyone. Other highlights include the Rochelle and Franco follies, a renowned 18-hole golf course, karting, marina, tennis, swimming, water sports, hiking, fishing, casino, cinema, bars, nightclubs, parks, and children's clubs.

The region is also rich in cultural and historical sites. Explore the iconic 1950s architecture of Royan, visit the famous Grande Côte in Saint Palais sur Mer, discover the troglodyte caves in Meschers and the archaeological site of Fâ. Don't miss the charming village of Talmont with its beautiful church, the oyster parks in Marennes, and the historic citadel of Brouage. Other attractions include the giant aquarium in La Rochelle, the Gallo-Roman town of Saintes, the Paleosite in St. Cesaire, the city of Pons, and the renowned wine regions of Medoc and Bordeaux.

The Charente-Maritime department is the second most popular tourist destination in France, offering exceptional villages, cultural heritage sites, and a wide range of sports and recreational activities. The region is also well-known for its delicious cuisine, including specialties such as Pineau, Cognac, Charente wine, and Bordeaux wine.

With a privileged climate boasting approximately 2600 hours of sunshine per year, there are always plenty of reasons to visit our beautiful region and relax in our comfortable cottage.

We offer special rates for curists throughout the year, with a 10% discount valid for stays of 3 consecutive weeks. Please note that this offer is not available during the months of July and August.

We accept checks and pets under certain conditions. Linen rental and additional services may be provided at an additional cost. Local shops are conveniently located in Arces center (300m) and Cozes (4km), with a larger market in Royan (15km). WiFi internet and phone services are available, and we provide detailed information about our cottage, including rates, photos, schedules, location, lease terms, and references. Heating costs are added to the rental price during the winter period (October to April).

Le Gite a été parfais pour notre petite famille. 2 Adultes et 2 enfants avec tout confort. Quoi demander de plus car les plages ne sont pas loin et ont pas eu les désagrements du bord de mer avec son affluence.
