Welcome to the Alsatian Cottage, a charming and traditional barrel-makers house built in 1578. Nestled in the historic district of the medieval wine-growing town of Ribeauvillé, our meticulously restored house boasts a flowered courtyard where you can enjoy meals or simply relax and daydream. Each of our quiet, comfortable, and well-equipped apartments are housed within the authentic walls of our 16th-century building.

We offer a warm and personal welcome in our authentic house, situated near the town center and in an ideal geographical location. At the foot of Mt Taennchel, enjoy a relaxing stay in the picturesque medieval city of Ribeauvillé. As a health resort, green holiday destination, and flowered village along the Alsatian wine route between vineyards and mountains, Ribeauvillé is perfectly positioned between Colmar and Sélestat, and halfway between Strasbourg and Mulhouse.

Our gîte is perfect for two people and features a bedroom with a wardrobe, dresser, and outlets. The room is furnished with typical Alsatian furniture, including a safe for valuables, and a large bed dressed in high-quality linens. The cozy living area includes a sofa, armchair, table, chairs, dresser, and outlets, all tastefully decorated with visual half-timberings.

The kitchen is equipped with dishes, cutlery, a sink, refrigerator, electric coffee machine, cooking table and oven, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, and ample storage space. The bathroom is fully tiled and includes a shower, washbasin, and toilet. Enjoy free Wi-Fi internet access throughout your stay.

The Gîte Alsatien, recently updated, is conveniently located in the heart of the wine route and the medieval city of Ribeauvillé. It is equidistant from Colmar and Sélestat, both just a 10-minute drive away, and halfway between Strasbourg and Mulhouse, both just a 30-minute drive away.

If you are arriving by train, the closest station is Ribeauvillé, only 2km away. Alternatively, Sélestat station is 17km away, Colmar railway station is 18km away, Mulhouse Train Station is 60km away, and Strasbourg station is 63km away.
